Meet the Staff

Dan Butz- I started a relationship with Christ my sophmore year at Texas A&M Commerce. I was getting a degree in Computer Information Systems that I never really used. After graduation I worked for a year as a personal trainer and loved my job. So I went back to school for a Masters in Recreation at Ohio University, and here is where I got involved with Campus Crusade for Christ. As much as I enjoyed Recreation, I wanted my life to be invested in things that mattered for eternity. I have been serving Jesus with Campus Crusade since 2003, and I am so excited to be at Florida State. Adrienne and I got married February 8th 2009. I really enjoy being married, and highly recommend it. I also enjoy cycling, backpacking, hiking and being a sports fan.
Adrienne Butz I grew up in Tuscaloosa, AL and graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Psychology. I love figuring out people’s personalities and may have already tried to guess yours. After I graduated I lived in East Asia for 2 yrs on Stint- a short term option to live overseas and serve on college campuses with cru. Afterward, I joined staff with cru in the summer of 2001. I have served at Mississippi State University and at our World Headquarters in Orlando. After Dan and I got married Feb 8, 2009, we decided to trust the Lord together to move to FSU. It has been a great decision and we are excited about all the Lord is doing here. I love football and desserts!
Scott Perdue- I was born and raised in Jacksonville, FL and attended Florida State from 2004-2008. I studied Spanish and Pre-Medical Sciences while at FSU. After graduation I got married to my awesome wife Katie and joined staff with Campus Crusade for Christ. I am proud to be a super-taster and would love to explain what that means to you. I love being outdoors, playing polo, and the Seminoles! I’m excited to be back at FSU and to see all that God has in store for us and this campus!
Katie Perdue- I graduated college in 2008 and I grew up in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. I went to FCCJ and TCC and received my A.A. and then was later certified in child growth and development, and joined staff with Campus Crusade after my time there. I married Scott Perdue on May 11, 2008 and we experienced a good bit of life change all in one summer including 6 weeks of staff training, starting new jobs, and moving! We are really excited to be back at Florida State and are looking forward to what God will do! Something I take pride in is my talent to pop my bubblegum at an extremely fast rate. If I’m chewing gum ask me to show you, there’s no doubt you’ll be amazed.

Drew Denton- I was born in Birmingham, AL and began a relationship with God as a young man.  I attended college at University of Alabama at Birmingham where I received two degree’s in Accounting and Finance.  A Campus Crusade for Christ ministry was launched on my campus during my third senior year.  I became involved as a Senior at UAB and served for two years as an intern with Campus Crusade at UAB’s campus.  I took steps to join staff in 2010 and moved to Tallahassee in 2011 to begin work at FSU.  I enjoy running, lifting weights, eating healthy, and being tall.  I really enjoy people and if I have not met you would love to, please introduce yourself.
