It’s a spring break conference during the month of March hosted by the Campus Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ at the Edgewater Beach Resort in Panama City Beach, FL.

The conference begins with onsite registration on Saturday afternoon. The beginning session is Sunday night. The Monday through Thursday morning sessions provide practical training on sharing the gospel. The afternoons offer the opportunity to practice sharing the gospel in Panama City Beach. The Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions provide worship, opportunities to share your afternoon experiences, and biblical teaching. Optional seminars will be offered throughout the week on such topics as apologetics, Web evangelism, and worldviews.

This is what a typical weekday at Big Break will look like:
9:00am – Personal Quiet Time
10:00am – Morning Session
1:00pm – Evangelism on Beach
7:30pm – Evening Session

Our vision is to help people experience true satisfaction in Christ. That satisfaction compels us to go to unreached places, and share the gospel with every person. As participants in Urban Immersion we will spend time on Chicago campuses doing evangelism and helping to start and grow movements among the 180,000 students on 44 strategic campuses in Chicago.  We will also get the chance to serve with Here’s Life Inner City and partner ministries and churches to serve the needs of children, teens, and the poor throughout Chicago. Our hope is that it will be life changing both for those that go and serve and for those that we are serving. The cost is only $350 and include transportation, housing and most meals.
